Canada: COVID-19 Restart Series: How the Pandemic May Impact the Canadian Legal Landscape in the Short and Long Term

How might the law change over time in light of COVID-19? In this interactive session, lawyers from Lenczner Slaght and their in-house counsel guest will present a fact scenario that will allow for discussion of the potential legal issues surrounding the pandemic now and in the future. Scott Rollwagen
Scott is the Research Partner at Lenczner Slaght. He provides the firm's clients with strategic advice and analysis to solve complex legal problems quickly and effectively. Monique Jilesen
Monique is a Partner at Lenczner Slaght and a member of the firm’s management committee. She is litigation counsel in complex proceedings from inception through trial. She focuses on class actions, contract and shareholder disputes, civil fraud cases, injunctions, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, and securities and derivatives cases. Monique’s clients include major financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, technology companies, and other multinational corporations who routinely face challenging, cross-border disputes. Monique is a member of the Toronto Commercial List Users’ Committee. The Advocates’ Society awarded her the Douglas K. Laidlaw for Excellence in Advocacy.
